Active Living will be walking in the Parkinson SuperWalk Peterborough on Saturday September 8, 2018.
Parkinson's disease affects 1 in every 500 people in Canada. It most commonly affects people over the age of 60, so as you can imagine there are many people living in the Peterborough area affected by this disease. We work with people at all stages of the disease and at any level function, in the clinic and in the gym. Neurological rehabilitation is our passion so we have chosen the SuperWalk as something we participate in annually. This will be our 4th year participating in the 5km walk (there is also a 2km route if anyone is interested in joining).
